Adjustable Pre-Load Ball Joint

Original Lotus Ball Joints come with a set pre-load which creates friction.
The difference is most noticeable once the joint is pressed into the wishbone it will become stiffer and the friction will increase
With our adjustable ball joint you can remove the extra friction created simply by simply turning the adjuster knob.
Less stiffness means less friction and heat which equates to easier movement of the wishbones to follow the undulations of the road surface
We can supply a special ball joint press tool to enable easy removal of the Lotus ball joints and fitment of this adjustable ball joint.
If you use a threadlock on the nut use a low strength such as Loctite 222.
