K Series Assembled Uprated Oil Pump

The original equipment Oil pump used a 10.50mm / 11.00mm Sintered metal material gear that is prone to wear and breakage especially on high output/high revving engines.

As with all mechanical parts, these will wear out after 50-60,000 miles and shorter if a low quality oil has been used or there has been infrequent oil changes.

With an engine that revs to almost 8000 RPM the K Series oil pump takes some pounding.

Our high quality item has a higher surface area of 12.00mm and manufactured from Case Hardened EN24 steel for longevity and will help keep the oil pressure your engine requires.

Another concern is the K Series engine has an oil pressure switch that is only activated at pressures below 5lb ft which can be disastrous for the main and con rod bearings.

This Brand New oil pump is supplied completely built with all internal seals and the Case Hardened EN24 steel pump gear.
